Family Dentistry

Around here, we can treat anyone in the family for virtually any dental needs. It’s what being a family dental practice is all about.

Your Family's First Visit

"Addressing your initial concern is priority. But, I am a firm believer in encouraging you to have a comprehensive examination for an accurate assessment of your total dental health. Determining the cause of dental issues and knowing how to treat the source of the problem enhances the final result of all the procedures we do in dentistry." ~ Dr. Freeman

Your first visit will include a comprehensive examination and treatment recommendations. It is very important to Dr. Freeman that patients fully understand their conditions and treatment options. To this end, he utilizes several of the latest patient education tools to help patients better understand.

Regular Office Visits & Dental Cleanings

Regular dental cleanings by your dental hygienist are an important part of your preventive dental care. These cleanings remove the build up of plaque and tartar (calculus deposits). Cavity producing bacteria thrive in these areas of plaque and tartar, so it is important that they be removed.

As part of your dental cleaning visit, Dr. Freeman will exam in your teeth. This allows for early diagnosis and monitoring of potential problem areas. He will also assess the health of the gums and other tissues in your mouth.

Each person has individual needs or concerns. Your dental cleanings are also an opportunity for you to discuss these with Dr. Freeman.

Pat Knows Kids

A big part of family dentistry is working with children of all ages. We understand that, for a child, going to the dentist can be a scary event. By building trust with your young one, we’ll help him or her either get over that fear, or never develop it in the first place.

Your Child's First Visit

During the appointment, Dr. Freeman will review your child's medical and dental history. He will gently examine your child's teeth, gum tissue and jaw. The teeth will be cleaned and polished, followed by the application of a fluoride solution. At each step, he will let your child know what to expect, using pictures and easily understandable language.

We pride ourselves on a very friendly, inviting staff and we do all we can to help put your child at ease and make it a comfortable experience for him or her.

Part of a visit to our office includes motivating your child toward healthy diet and hygiene activities to get them off to a great start.
